God
We believe in one God who created all things and continues to sustain and redeem the world. God’s very nature is love-calling us toward compassion, justice, and faithful living.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is God’s Son, fully human and fully divine. Through his life, teachings, death, and resurrection, Jesus reveals God’s heart and offers salvation, hope, and new life.
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirt is God’s active presence today. The Spirit comforts, empowers, and guides us; equips us with gifts; and forms us into a community of faith serving in love.
Humanity
We believe every person is created in God’s image and deeply loved by God. Though we fall short, God’s grace leads us toward forgiveness, repentance, growth, and transformation.
The Church
We believe the Church is the community of all who follow Christ. We seek to worship fully, grow spiritually, serve boldly, and share God’s hope and love with the world. The gospel is the good news that God has not left the world to its brokenness but has stepped into our story through Jesus Christ. In his life we see God’s love made real, in his cross we find forgiveness and freedom, and in his resurrection see new creation rising. The gospel proclaims that grace is strong than sin, hope outlasts despair, and every person s invited into a life made new – rooted in love, shaped by mercy, and joined to God’s redeeming and transforming work in the world.
We invite you to join us as we share this good news with our neighbors and all those who need to know and experience the love of God in Jesus Christ. The mission and vision of The United Methodist Church reflect our shared calling to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to join God’s transforming work in the world.
The Mission of the United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
The Vision of the United Methodist Church is to form disciples of Jesus Christ who love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously. This involves passionately loving God and people, compassionately helping the vulnerable, and actively resisting injustice and oppression. The goal is to transform communities and the world through these actions. The United Methodist Social Creed expresses our commitment to live our faith in the world-seeking justice, dignity, and compassion for all of God’s children.
