The Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church Food Pantry is an outreach ministry providing free Food Bags to those in need. The Food Pantry is open on Tuesday & Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Persons residing within Richland County are eligible to receive food assistance every 30 days.

The Food Pantry at Virginia Wingard Memorial UMC is an official distribution center for the US government’s Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) which makes food available at no cost for distribution to eligible clients. For detailed information please view this pdf: Food Pantry. No I.D. or other documentation is required to receive TEFAP assistance.
We welcome financial donations or non-perishable food items with current dates. We also welcome volunteers! If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact the church office at 803-772-0794.
